One for live music lovers!

The above photo portrait is a of Eddie Vedder, lead singer of rock band Pearl Jam, at their 14 September 2006 concert in Bologna, Italy.

Eddie, on one knees with wine bottle in hand, is gesturing to an audience member in the front rows of the tightly packed crowd. There seems to be a connection between him and the audience member. Perhaps Eddie had seen the person at previous concerts. Judging by his body manners, Eddie’s eyes, although not fully visible, look very focused.

This concert was extremely hot and intense and this is reflected in Eddie’s glistening hair. The red and yellow lights drench the stage in a warm glow and reflect off the singer’s jeans and shirt.

In the background a cameraman is recording footage of the other group members. This concert is one of five Italian concerts from 2006 (the others being Verona, Milan, Torino and Pistoia) to be chronicled in the upcoming Immagine In Cornice “Picture in a Frame” DVD release.
